Questioner’s Shadow Cover

Haven’t started writing yet, today. Have to get on it. But the reason for the delay is that I got the final art for the Questioner’s Shadow cover, and, well, I just HAD to play with it.

So here is the ebook cover for Questioner’s Shadow. The painting was done by Joe Slucher again.

  1. The cover looks very nice and impressive. Which raises a question. Isn’t a piece of work like that extremely expensive?
I understand big publishing houses ordering these kinds of work, but they can afford it. But let’s say you want to put something like this on a selfpublished ebook. Is it even possible? Without digging really deep into your pockets I mean.

  2. Sure, good cover art can be expensive. I’m sure some would think what I paid is far more than they would ever pay. But, I can assure you, it’s possible to do it on a self-published ebook. You just have to decide how much you’re willing to invest in the quality of your book’s production.
